Kevin Gehringer is the vocal music teacher at Richard L. Rice Elementary School in Marlton, NJ, currently instructing PK-5 general music. In addition to his role as the general music teacher, Mr. Gehringer also serves as the 4th/5th Grade Chorus Advisor and 3rd Grade Percussion Ensemble Advisor. Prior to joining the Evesham Township School District, he taught general music, instrumental music, and choral music at Magowan Elementary School in Edgewater Park, NJ.

Mr. Gehringer graduated summa cum laude from Rowan University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Subject Matter Specialization. His dedication to the arts earned him the 2019 W. Clarke Pfleeger Medallion Award for Musical Excellence and the 2019 Lawson J. Brown Senior Scholarship Award as class valedictorian. In August 2026, he earned a Master of Music Education from the University of Florida. He has presented clinics on his master’s thesis exploring game-based learning in beginning music ensembles at SCJDA, NJMEA, and TMEA Conferences.

In addition to teaching, Mr. Gehringer serves as a saxophone instructor at the Rowan Community School and remains active as a performer throughout the tri-state area. His performance experience spans both onstage and offstage, including appearances in local community theater productions and serving as pit orchestra conductor for Clearview Regional High School and Clayton High School. 

Mr. Gehringer currently resides in Collingswood, NJ, with his husband, Scott. He is so grateful for his family, friends, colleagues, and the outstanding students performing today for their unwavering support and for making this performance possible.
